In 2023 we launched our summer Community BBQs. Our idea was to have one large outreach per month throughout the summer where we could connect with our Homework Club students, celebrate our community, worship under the stars and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I still remember praying and talking with Emily about stepping out into full time ministry in Chester. COVID had just hit in 2020

 “I’m born and raised in Chester and I see the need for this ministry here, and throughout the country!” This inspiring incredible story from our faithful, trustworthy volunteer, Serena, started when she drove by Food Outreach one day. She stopped to ask if she could help… the rest is history.

We are sending 11 urban kids to camp this summer, and we need your help! The last week of May we had our closing party for our Homework Club kids.

Greenhouse Recovery isn’t something completely new. This is a continuation of a nonprofit organization that has been around for almost twenty years.

Recovery stories are not always linear. Malik came to us this fall to explore his faith. He had been an alcoholic and had been through rehab and had been clean for about 10 months.

What if we could bring a Christmas Miracle to our Homework Club kids and their families this year? We think it’s pretty awesome, and we pray we can do it!
