Give the Gift of Real Hope This Easter

Easter is all about restoration, hope, and the gift of new life in Christ. At Greenhouse Project, we are sharing the meaning of Easter with Chester this season as we live among those we serve. While the pandemic has brought our town to new levels of struggle – isolation, poverty, education fallout, heavier drug use – we recognize that people need hope. Real lasting hope. And sometimes that begins with meeting practical needs.

Your support during the holidays helped a single mother with three boys by providing gifts and household necessities she couldn’t afford, and more recently the possibility of daycare. This woman is now in nursing school working hard to raise her kids well. She is a life changed. While giving supplies is not the end goal, it’s an inroad to forming trust and longterm friendships that allow for help on a much deeper level, leading to broken cycles of poverty, addiction, abuse and crime.

Thanks to your investment into our recovery programs, 35 clients have received the gift of sobriety since December 1. One recovery client recently celebrated over 18 months sober! This young man is now going back to school to start his own business after setting goals through recovery work. He is a life changed.

Friend, what if a simple gift this Easter could bring new life to another Chester neighbor?

Our goals are big: together we can deliver 200 Easter food boxes to families and 50 candy baskets to youth, continue our weekly home church, and offer another 35 clients free recovery counseling sessions.

Here’s how you can help change a life during Easter:

  • $25 gift sponsors 3 Easter candy baskets

  • $50 gift sponsors 2 Easter food boxes

  • $75 gift covers expenses for 2 church services

  • $100 gift provides 1 month of addiction recovery for 3 clients

YOU are the real hero who makes a real impact by giving directly to our programs that deliver the gospel message, food and supplies, and critical recovery coaching programs to Chester neighbors in need.

From the entire Greenhouse team, THANK YOU and God bless you! We can’t do this without you.
